Matrici

Exhibiting from the 25th of June to the 3th of September at the Gallerie d’Italia – Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano, museum site of Intesa Sanpaolo in Naples, the painting cycle Matrici: twenty-five large size paintings inspired by one of the most emblematic and dramatic places in the city: Le Vele di Scampia.
In this series of paintings, Petrus changes his own language and his formal approach, through the close dialogue between the typical urban depictions and their “translation” into a pure aniconic element.
